Hi, I'm Calle. I'm a documentary-style photographer here in Del Rio, and I've built my whole approach around the moments nobody thinks to ask for.

The way he pulls you in a little closer when he thinks no one is looking. Your toddler taking off across the field for the tenth time. That quiet beat right before everyone starts laughing. Those are the ones I'm watching for. Posed photos have their place, and I'll absolutely get you a few you can send to your grandma, but the images you'll still be pulling out in twenty years are the honest ones.

My work leans warm and true to color, a little moody, a little filmy. I want your gallery to feel like the day actually felt, not like a version of it that's been polished until it stops looking like you.

A lot of the families I photograph are connected to Laughlin, which means I know how fast orders can come and how much it matters to have something to take with you. Whether you're marking a season that's ending or one that's just getting started, I'd love to be the one who documents it.

Your Session

Come as you are and love on your people. I’ll give you enough direction that you never feel awkward, then leave plenty of room for the laughs, little looks, snuggles, chaos, and everything in between. As a mom of two, I know real life rarely looks perfectly posed, and honestly, I don't think your photos should either.

The two of you, exactly as you are right now.
You don’t need to know what to do with your hands. You don’t need to practice poses beforehand. And you definitely don’t need to spend the whole session smiling at me like we’re taking school pictures. 😂
Whether you’re documenting the two of you before life changes again, celebrating a growing belly, or realizing you somehow haven’t had a good photo together since 2022, these sessions are about what your relationship actually feels like.
I’ll give you enough direction that you never feel awkward or wonder what you’re supposed to be doing, but I’m also watching for everything that happens in between. The way he makes you laugh when you’re trying to be serious. Your hand resting on your belly without thinking about it. The looks, touches, weird little inside jokes, and quiet moments that belong to the two of you.
Because those are usually the photos you end up loving the most.
These sessions are relaxed, connection-focused, and photographed in my documentary style, so your gallery feels like you instead of a collection of poses you’d never naturally do.
Come as your family. Not the suspiciously well-behaved version of your family.
Your toddler doesn’t have to cooperate the entire time.
Your kids can be loud. Someone can need a snack. Somebody will probably wander away when we’re trying to get everyone together. Honestly, that’s family life, and I’m not interested in editing all of the personality out of it.
I’ll make sure we get photos of everyone together, but I’m also paying attention to the little stuff happening around us. Your kid reaching for your hand. Dad getting tackled. The belly laughs. The cuddles. The sibling chaos. The expression your child makes that you see approximately 47 times a day and somehow never have a good picture of.
My family sessions are documentary-style, which means you won’t spend the entire time being posed and told to smile at the camera. I’ll guide when we need it and give your family room to actually interact when we don’t.
The goal is a gallery that feels like your family in this season, including the sweet parts, the goofy parts, and a little bit of the chaos you’ll probably miss more than you expect someday.
Tiny toes are cute. I want to remember the rest of it, too.
The sleepy stretches. The way their entire hand wraps around one of your fingers. That little patch of fuzzy newborn hair. The way they curl into your chest. Their nursery. Their siblings inspecting this new tiny person who apparently lives here now.
Newborn sessions with me are relaxed and documentary-style, because the last thing you need after having a baby is another situation you have to perform for.
There’s no expectation that your baby sleeps the entire time. We can stop for feeding, changing, rocking, snuggling, or whatever your baby needs. Your home doesn’t have to look like a magazine, and nobody needs to pretend the newborn stage is perfectly peaceful when there are burp cloths everywhere and you’re running on questionable amounts of sleep.
I’ll gently guide you when needed, but mostly I’m there to document what this tiny, fleeting season actually looks and feels like.
Because your baby won’t stay this little for long, and someday you’re going to want more than a photo of what they looked like.
You’re going to want to remember what it felt like to hold them when they fit right there.
